Eradication of Sickle Cell Program

OBJECTIVE
The main objective of this program is to identify the prevalence of sickle cell anemia among adolescents and their family members with sickle cell anemia and to help adolescents to plan their next phase of life based on their health condition.

Tibetan Health Group
OBJECTIVE
The project is a part of the Department of Health which is one of the seven departments of Central Tibetan Administration. The Department is registered in the name of the Tibetan Voluntary Health Association (TVHA) under the Indian Society Registration Act XXI 1860. And it is working as a registered charitable organization catering comprehensive healthcare to the Tibetan refugee population settled in various parts of India and Nepal.
An initiative by Tibetan Health
The main aim of the Department is to make Tibetan refugee settlements viable by improving basic health status of Tibetan in exile. It includes providing adequate, equitable, and holistic primary health care services to all Tibetan refugees through its Primary Health Care centers and to create and expand public health care program in the community for disease prevention, promoting healthier lifestyles, and a cleaner environment. And with its primary goal of “Health for All” Department extends its health care services to both Tibetans and local Indian residents. Currently, there are 7 hospitals, 5 Primary Health Centers and 38 clinics located in all the refugee settlements in India and Nepal with 174 medical staff and 68 administrative staff working under it.

Create Social Health entrepreneurs, generate employment by enabling the entrepreneurs with adequate technology and support anemia screening.

Early Cancer Detection
A PROGRAM TO SCREENING FEMALE GROUP FROM AGE GROUP (35 TO 60) FOR ORAL, CERVICAL, COLORECTAL & BREAST CANCER.
OBJECTIVE
Screening 20,000 females for early detection & prevalence of cancer and enrolling the suspected cases under ABAK scheme.
